What Life OS keeps about you, in plain words.

What we keep

Everything you put into Life OS: your account details (email and name), your projects, habits, tasks, notes, journal entries, files and settings, and a record of what you have done so you can see your progress.

We do not sell your data, show adverts, or use it to train anything.

Where it is kept

Your data is stored with Supabase, in a data centre in London. The app itself runs on a server rented from Hetzner. Files you upload are stored with your data.

Who else can see it

Nobody at other companies sees your notes or projects, with these exceptions that you control. If you search for a cover picture, your search words are sent to Unsplash or Pexels to find pictures. If you switch on notifications, the text of the notification passes through your browser’s push service (Google, Apple or Mozilla).

The Vault is private to your account, but it is not end-to-end encrypted. Do not store passwords or card numbers in it.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. There is no advertising or tracking.

Your choices

In Settings you can download everything you have saved as one file, and you can delete your account. Deleting your account permanently removes your login, your data and your files.

When you delete something, it waits in the Bin for about 30 days before it is removed for good.

Questions

To ask a question, correct something or make a request about your data, contact the person who invited you to Life OS. This page will be updated as the service changes.
